Successful First Full Day of Trading with a full site

July 30th, 2007

Well yesterday was our first full day of trading with a site full of participants and day visitors.

The day was very busy and we served the equivalent of over 1000 cream teas.

The Jamboree Blend Tea continues to be very succesful and in the evenings the Hot Chocolate fountains are proving to be very popular with the participants.

Tea House Now Open

July 28th, 2007

Well here we are at the Jamboree.  It’s saturday and the official opening ceremony finished about three hours ago.

We’ve been on site for a week now and things are going quite nicely.  We managed to open ahead of schedule and I believe that we were the first food outlet on the plaza to do so.

The tea house is proving to be very popular and the special Jamboree tea is proving to be our best selling blend.

Last night was the first night with large numbers of participants on site and the chocolate fountain proved to be a big hit with them.

We are not sure at the moment if we will be able to post photos to the blog, but we are doing our best to get some photos posted as soon as possible.

Well thats just about it for now except to say that if you are reading this at one of the internet cafes at the Jambo or you are coming on a day visit we are located in the plaza opposite the UK scout shop on one side and Hylands Park house at one end.

Just look for the queues and the white picket fence around our tea garden.

Hello everyone!
